In my grandfather’s village there was a man called Nu-mis who went deep into the mountains seeking a supernatural encounter. He was gone for four days when a Raven came to him and said he’d sing a song and perform a dance. Raven taught Nu-mis four songs and told him to bring them back to his family. The descendants of Nu-mis perform the Raven dances to this day and own the rights to the Raven songs.
