"The title “Night Shift” is selected from one of my favorite songs about honoring those before us, “Night Shift” by the Commodores. The color choices were influenced by Marvin Oliver, who was such an innovator in the tertiary. The theme is a migration, and I’m leaving it open ended to the viewer to decide if it’s migration south or a migration between planes of existence."
