Darren Joseph is a First Nations artist focused on Coast Salish and Northwest Coast traditional and contemporary arts. Darren specializes in wood carvings that include: totem poles, canoes, panels, rattles, masks, prints, custom orders and designs by request.
Darren started his apprenticeship in 2003 with several renowned First Nations artists. Darren studied Coast Salish and Northwest Coast forums of Northern Tutchone, and Haida art styles. For the last 12 years Darren has had the opportunity to work with several private and public art commissions that include: art galleries, art collectors, First Nations communities, First Nations organizations, school districts and municipalities to produce and complete hand carved orders and designs.
